BOOZ -N- TUNA is an 80s hard rock cover band from the Bismarck/Mandan area formed in 2017 by founding members Garrett Kropp (guitar) and Tayler Johnson (drums). Tayler began drumming at the early age of 5 on anything that could withstand constant hammering. He recalls sitting stage-side watching high school kids play in bands hoping that one day he would be able to realize his dream of being a heavy metal drummer. He began his musical career playing in the high school concert and pep bands and today he gives his very best to BOOZ -N- TUNA, playing the music he loves most. Garrett has always had a passion for music and is known among friends as the "gear-head" of the band. His love of the classic rock genre was the inspiration behind the formation of a band dedicated to bringing the 80s back in full force! Garrett is always seeking to expand his musical knowledge and brings several years of experience having played lead guitar for Road Trip Band before forming BOOZ -N- TUNA.
In their search for other dedicated musicians, Garrett and Tayler found the ultimate front-man in Gavin Clements. Growing up in southern Missouri, Gavin came from a family of talented musicians well versed in gospel, country, and bluegrass. However, it was his over-the-road trucking grandpa who cemented his love for Rock N Roll. After his time served in the Army, Gavin traveled all over the US rockin' out until Booz-N-Tuna captured him and put his powerful voice to purpose. With an electric personality and a Big Tuna persona, he has been lighting up the stage ever since. Originally from Florida, Nina Walden joined the band as bass player in 2019. Nina's musical experience is deeply rooted in the 80s hard rock/hair band scene making her the perfect fit for BOOZ -N- TUNA. She has been in numerous bands and traveled all over the country, now calling North Dakota home.

Only a few miles from the Las Vegas strip in June of 2007, four guys, that had never met, rehearsed for the first time in a beat up old studio. Little did they know that seven years later they would be hailed as one of the most exciting and sought after rock bands in Nevada.
The Garage Boys have stood the test of time; touring, recording and performing in just about every circumstance known to all band kind. Most bands pack it in after a few months…a year tops. Who can blame them; it’s a tough industry. However, these guys are not stopping. They are a high energy, 100% organic, rock band. They released their second album, “Sgt. Peckers”, June of 2015, which is guaranteed to be a huge success worldwide. Their unique sound reflects their influences, which range from The Beatles and Stones, to STP, Weezer, Bob Marley, Sublime, Thin Lizzy, Metallica, Radiohead, Bon Jovi and even Steely Dan.
Their latest album was released June 20th of 2017. It is their most Bi-polar to date: and that’s the way they want it. The Garage Boys are not interested in forming a generic sound where every track is the same as the last. One song will be glam-rock, Reggae the next, and another will be old school classic country rock…the way bands used to do it.

Matt Spinks is a song writer first and a guitarist second, though his guitar playing has taken him on various tours around the U.S. Also, he hates name dropping so he won't mention any of the sweet bands he's played in over the years;) His playing is tasteful and articulate, and his lyrics and melodies stay with you long after you've left the show. he sounds like Brad Paisley, Robben Ford, and Eric Clapton are sharing guitar rigs. From Matt, you can expect a shirt that's probably too tight, jeans that he would never buy for himself, sweet boots, and very good manners.
Sounds Like: John Mayer Trio, Western Underground

This band plays all your favorite classic rock and country music from Merle Haggard to Led Zeppelin. The power trio stirs in the funk and the blues sprinkled with stellar harmony vocals, and tops it all off with high energy stage presence and hard hitting fun.
