Nose: Aroma is a touch herbal, and properly grainy; aeration time adds simple scents of marshmallow and cedar.
Palate:  Creamy at first, and then turns a little hard-edged in the acidity department; at midpalate there are muted tastes of roasted hazelnuts and cereal grains.
Color: Dark Golden
Notes: A very approachable blend of fine whiskies, Black Velvet is as smooth as the name would suggest and slips down almost alarmingly easily.
